4 month check up

Emory had her 4 month checkup on March 19th, she was 12 lbs 9 oz, 23 1/2 in long. 50th percentile for her height and weight and 25th for her melon. So she's still on a steady growth height and weight wise staying in the 50th range Her head dropped from 50 to 25 but its still good. She also had her first ear infection which would explain her screaming at all hours of the night for about a week before. We got antibiotics for it and numbing eardrops that were a godsend. We got the go ahead for solids. She wasn't ready that week and as of this past friday 3/27 she has started rice cereal and loves it.

Her pediatrician also said that shes ahead in her development which was really awesome to hear. She can roll over front to back, back to front. Sit w/ us supporting her, passes toys from one hand to the other, babbles to herself and when talked to. She's cutting her 2 bottom teeth and they should be popping through any day now.

Now if we can just get her sleep at night before 3 am we'll be good to go lol.

On the 9th of March we also went to the opthamologist to findout why her eyes shake back and forth. Its nothing to be worried about at all. Its called Motor Nystamous and it just means her eyes shake back and forth, she could grow out of it but if she doesn't then its not a big deal until she gets to school age and we'll cross that bridge when and if it comes. She'll need to have something to magnify books and such if it comes to that.
